In 2021, Craftproducers Hosted the Start Annual Lake George Fine art and Craft Festival

We Can't Expect for 2022!

We'd like to thank all who supported the show in its first year,
and nosotros promise to run into you again in 2022.

What Can You Await to Run across and Exercise At the Festival?

The Festival is a iii-solar day consequence from Fri through Lord's day from 10am-5pm. The beautiful Charles R Forest Park is a brusk walk to the Hamlet Eye and the Million Dollar Beach. Fine art & Craft Exhibitors

The principal allure here includes the over 125 creators of their individual creations. Meet the Artists and marvel at their works equally y'all carefully decide just what to make as a special buy for yourself or a loved one.

Festival Food

Bask Festival food onsite from local entrepreneurs who bring their traveling operations to the site and specialize in providing exactly what you'd want at an outdoor festival; namely, something delectable reserved for such an event.

Alive Music

The festival will have a huge dining tent with tables and chairs and an within stage where a different local or regional band will perform each day. In that location is no extra charge for the live music so enjoy information technology throughout the day and weekend.

Specialty Foods

In add-on to the juried craftwork is an entire section of specialty foods and beverages for take habitation. New York Country is renowned for its many agricultural farms specializing in Wines and Spirits and we are fortunate to have them hither.

Kids' Activities

We are pleased to host several providers of bully activities for the kids, such as pony rides, subcontract animals, bounciness zone with giant slide, slushies and lemonade, and food and music within the big tent.

Savour refreshing beverages perfect for a summer day. The standalone Beer and Wine offers local domestic and craft brewed options with a great selection for every taste.

Lynne Puhalla of Lynne Puhalla Studios

Lynne Puhalla says she has always had a passion for weaving and basketry. "With degrees in both design and sculpture, I love working and experimenting with the utilize of course, shape, and texture. Since many of my young man creative person friends are potters, getting my easily into clay was a natural. Eventually, rather than choosing betwixt the two, I decided to pursue both!"

Slab rolled pottery with leaves imprinted to show the truthful marvels of nature.

Featured Creative person

Helen and Jim Bellows of Squirrel-Eze

These artists specialize in both artisan jewelry — necklaces, bracelets, earrings, accessories — and textiles — scarves and wristlets. Helen is also a published author. What a diverse artistic duo!

Chain Maille

Jim Bellows explains that Concatenation Maille is a series of interconnected, woven metal rings. "Once worn by knights as a form of protection, it has been refined and modified to create elegant, classic jewelry. We mitt course and cut our rings."

Silversmithing

Helen Yetman-Bellows explains she creates "signed original designs, one line at a fourth dimension, combining simple ancient techniques to create intricate, circuitous results. (No two pieces are exactly the same – await slight variations)."

Concatenation Maille Paw Tools

Jim uses special hand tools to create Chain Maille using elementary aboriginal techniques.

Textiles and Writings

Helen also uses a process chosen sublimation to create wearable art on scarves and wristlets

We have followed Craftproducers shows in Vermont for years. Information technology was a surprise not to have free parking here, but the admission price offset it and the parking fees were not bad at all. Information technology was worth the ride over for sure.

Craftproducers launched TWO new shows in Lake George in 2021. The Lake George Art and Craft Festival was July xxx-August ane and the Lake George BBQ and Music Festival was a couple weeks afterwards on August 13-fifteen. Both shows have great food and activities for kids. Merely the master focus of the Art and Arts and crafts Festival is on the over 125 juried artists and artisans, while the BBQ has a smaller, non-juried Market with a primary focus on Barbecue Vendors and Live Music on the Big Stage all weekend.
