Wizards: Tales of Arcadia picks up where Trollhunters and 3Below left off, focusing on Douxie and Merlin trying to terminate the Arcane Ones. However, Jim, the current Trollhunter, equally well as Claire, get thrown into the mix as they're placed on a standoff form with the Green Knight and the all-too-familiar figure of Morgana.

Jim's taken when the Light-green Knight and the Arcane Ones launch a full-scale attack, aiming to go the Genesis Seals and Nari so they can eliminate humanity. With dark magic holding Jim's mind, he turns into an enforcer, helping the Greenish Knight and even looking to murder his friends. Every bit for his soul, Merlin and Douxie indicated there was no cure for the spread, and when Claire does become into the Shadow Realm, she discovers Jim'southward far gone.

He doesn't have his supernatural weapons or armor anymore, but when he does try to elevator the Excalibur sword left behind, while he isn't ready or worthy right now, the series hints Jim is indeed the man for the job. With Rise of the Titans to come and the Arcane Ones yet hunting Douxie and Nari, Jim could become the ultimate Trollhunter.
