Well, first, this is quite pricey. Very pricey but after another prescription canned food gave her horrid, and I mean horrid, gas nosotros switched to this. She, a beagle, does not like it and I hold my breath when putting in her dish. A beagle volition swallow about anything, merely not this. I'm at the end of the route. If Chewy would look at my history, they volition see nosotros accept tried only about everything. Very seldom do we make clean up house, not smelly stools. We have been using this dog food for several years. Ever since Royal Canin inverse their formula and added the pork plasma the consistency of the dog food has been erratic. Sometimes the cans are non quite full. The food will be slightly pulled away from the sides of the tin can and there is an oily substance surrounding the nutrient. I accept thrown several cans away as I am hesitant to feed it to my dog. At the price point of this dog food this is totally unacceptable. Royal Canin definitely needs to piece of work on their quality control.

My 12.v yo Aussie has been on this diet for 6wks and loves this canned food (mixed with soggy dry RC-GILF), mashed as paste, meatballs for lickimat, slofeeder. He has larpar, GERD, and other intestinal problems. Regurgitation has improved with the "soft" diet 3x/day (not calorie dense so we accept to split up information technology upward to get information technology all in; he's a skinny dog), intestinal issues remain. We'll need to endeavour something else like hydrolyzed protein or fiber.
